First Bus announces new X6 service creating a direct link to Rotherham Welcome Break services
- First Bus South Yorkshire teams up with Rotherham Welcome Break to provide a new direct bus service between Sheffield and Rotherham
- The X6 service will run from Sheffield Moorfoot, Rotherham Welcome Break and Rotherham Interchange, seven days a week
- The new service opened on Friday 17th January 2025

New - service 80 being introduced to the First Bus network linking Killamarsh in North East Derbyshire with Chesterfield
- First Bus announced it has been successful in being awarded a contract by Derbyshire County Council to run a new bus service linking Killamarsh with Chesterfield.
- The First Bus network in South Yorkshire now provides a bus link between the areas of Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham, North east Derbyshire and Chesterfield.
- The new service 80 starts on Sunday 12th May 2024.

- Santa and his elf’s will be giving out Christmas cards with thank you messages on board their buses and some will have shopping vouchers and free bus travel codes enclosed on the lead up to Christmas.
