First Bus is offering free bus travel for people attending local Armed Forces Day events.
- Free bus travel on 29th / 30th June for any person travelling to an organised event wearing uniforms of the Royal Navy, Army, Royal Marines, Royal Air Force, and any associated cadet force. Free travel is also allowed if a person is in possession of a current Ministry of Defence issued card, with their branch of military stated
First Bus in Doncaster kicks off Pride celebrations in 2024 with a dedicated bus design for the city.
- Today, June 11th saw First Bus unveil it's dedicated bus design to kickstart Pride celebrations in Doncaster
- The main Pride event in Doncaster will take place on 10 August at Townfields in Doncaster, First Bus will be offering free travel to the event.

First Bus in Sheffield supports three local foodbanks this Christmas
- First Bus in Sheffield have donated Christmas meals for Church Food Hub, S2 Foodbank and S20 Food bank.
- The food was supplied by Asda in Handsworth who also gifted mince pies towards the donation.
- Sheffield’s Lord Mayor Cllr C Ross was in attendance, along with Clive Betts, MP for the Sheffield South-East.
- First Bus operate several bus routes in these areas.
